Kalamazoo Guitar Lessons

My name is Joshua Peekstok. I have been playing guitar for over 30 years and have taken lessons from many different instructors, not only for the guitar but for several other instruments as well.

One thing I often found was lessons either bored me to the point of un-interest in the instrument, or the instructor was showing me something I could do at home on my own time, for free, rather than paying an over-priced instructor.

My goal is to make sure that doesn't happen. I want you to leave feeling like you learned something you will use for the rest of your life, and make sure that you notice (through your work and mine) a definite and clear improvement in your ability.

If you have not purchased a guitar yet, I strongly recommend being patient in this decision. I will help you find the right guitar for you at the best price I can find. What this means is a nice, name brand, quality guitar that fits you; at beginner guitar prices. I do this purely to help and because, well, I really really like guitar shopping. All too many times, I think, a new student has shown up for their first lesson with a guitar they just purchased, of very poor quality.
