best free peices of software I have come accross for the guitar. It
includes:
- Tablature editor
- Score Viewer
- Multitrack display
- Various effects
- Time signature management
- Imports and exports gp3, gp4, gp5, PowerTab and midi files
Backing Tracks:
- GuitarBackingTracks.com - This page contains free guitar backing tracks for popular songs as well as jam tracks. The backing tracks can be played onsite or downloaded in MP3 format.
- WikiLoops.com - wikiloops.com is a meetingplace for musicians and music lovers.

Sheet Music and Tablature:
- 8Notes.com - Plenty of free music plus the ability to play along with it
- BlankSheetMusic.net - This is the site I rely on to print all of my blank sheet music and tablature. If you have something in your head that you want to write down this is the site to visit!
- I will be adding many more sites to find music and tablature. One such site is 911tabs.com (although I plan on creating an ad-free version of this site that operates much quicker).
